Changeover within MARKUS Partners

Frankfurt, September 2016

Twelve years after the joint foundation of the M&A advisory firm MARKUS Partners, senior partner Rolf Koechling is retiring. Rolf Koechling and Bernhard Rittel started under the logo of the "winged lion" in 2005 and have successfully positioned MARKUS Partners as an advisor for medium-sized M&A transactions.

"I'm very grateful for the good cooperation and partnership between Rolf and myself" explains Bernhard Rittel regarding the retirement of his founding partner. "The difference in age between Bernhard and me was an integral part of our concept from the beginning. This allows the internal succession on the partner level without any problems," adds Rolf Koechling.

The founding partners have laid the basis for the succession already last year, when Daniel Kral became partner. Bernhard Rittel and Daniel Kral will continue to lead the M&A advisory firm. “I wish all the best to Bernhard and Daniel and their entire team and a successful future for MARKUS Partners”, states Rolf Koechling.

In the current year MARKUS Partners advised already on two successful transactions. Due to the good deal-flow the partners expect further potential closings.
